Founder & Principal
ATCOPETRO was founded in 1974 by an engineer holding a combined PhD degree in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining — pairing theoretical depth with field-level operational mastery, and one that remains rare in the region.
He has personally overseen five decades of continuous delivery to Kuwait’s national oil companies, from early service contracts through to complex commissioning and strategic storage mandates. The distinction matters: this is an operator who built and ran a business through boom cycles, price collapses and regional upheaval, rather than an advisor working from theory.
That continuity of judgement is why institutional clients return. Engagements are scoped by someone who has stood in front of the same units, the same procurement committees and the same regulators for half a century, and who remains personally involved in the firm’s technical positions today.
